When does the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS take place?

The  13th FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS will take place from 6th to 15th October 2017.


When can the illuminations and light artworks be seen?

During the festival, the core times of the illuminations are daily from 7:00 pm until midnight but may vary on individual light art works, which we indicate separately.


Do I have to pay admission for the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS?

No, the entrance is free for all visitors!


Is there a general overview with all illuminations available?

The latest overview is always included in the festival newspaper supplement and the programme booklet. Furthermore it is available per download from our website after publication.

Is this event barrier-free?

You are able to view the illuminations from the street, thus, the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS is barrier-free. Also, some LightSeeing partners offer wheelchair-accessible tours.


Do you offer guided tours?

Yes, you can find an overview of different tour options under the section LightSeeing.


How can I book a LightSeeing tour?

All LightSeeing tours are offered by licensees. You can book them directly through our partners using the indicated telephone numbers or online.


When and where can I find out which illuminations can be seen at this year’s festival?

Detailed information about artists and light art works as well as photos will be posted under the section illuminations.


Which events will take place during the Festival?
