Green is GREAT – Light Art with Responsibility at the British Embassy Berlin
We all have the responsibility to keep our planet worth living on. This is not always easy, but many small steps lead to the goal. In the end, the reward is a great feeling: Green is GREAT. Under this title, Great Britain wants to focus on the important issues of climate change, resource conservation and sustainable economic growth. The projection was also intended to show Britain’s ambitious climate target and its responsibility across national borders.
Ten years ago, Great Britain had already enshrined its climate targets in law, making it the first country to set itself a binding target of climate neutrality by 2050. Together with Germany and other partners, they are also internationally committed to climate protection. Together with Italy, the UK is applying for the presidency and organisation of the next UN climate conference in the coming year. Together with Germany and Norway, the UK is providing some 5 billion dollars to promote ambitious climate protection projects.
