This year’s highlight is the 3D video projection at Berlin’s Ostbahnhof station, on the facade of the Intercity Hotel. You see station clocks running backwards, faster and faster. Tracks build up and make a widely ramified rail network appear. A three-dimensional picture journey through train history begins. The entire façade becomes an active media archive, showing the evolution of trains to today’s modern and sustainable carriages. Then the perspective turns and visitors are taken on a (train) journey through cities, mountain worlds, past lakes and typical landscapes. “Get on!” the final image invites and … again the two- and three-dimensional staging starts.
