In recent years, the Berlin FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS has developed into a strong brand with an international reputation.
Our concept – to tell exciting stories with landmarks, monuments and buildings and to immerse the architecture in a new light – has been accepted by visitors with great enthusiasm.
Inspired by many enquiries, we also offer our services, creativity and experience to other cities.
The 1st of May 2018 marked the start of a very special festive week as Zwickau celebrated its 900th anniversary since the first official documented mention of the city. The Festival of Lights as a central element promised extraordinary experiences. Light installations, video projections and video mapping transformed around 25 buildings and squares into luminous history from 8 p.m. to midnight. Thus city history was presented and interpreted in a completely new way in public space! Episodes from nine centuries, famous personalities or simply visual creations through light formed a magical atmosphere.

On the 31st of October 2014, the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS team in Wolfsburg staged an artistic ensemble of buildings at Nordkopf, including the internationally renowned Science Center “phaeno”, starting at 5 p.m. in Wolfsburg.
The Show Case was part of the campaign “Wolfsburg shines” from 27.10. – 2.11.2014 and at the same time already a foretaste of the coming years in which Wolfsburg will present annual light productions.
On the 2nd of November 2014 it was “Lights On” in Kiel: The FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS celebrated its premiere in the Sailing City. The Rathausplatz shone in a completely new light. Projection and video art enchanted the beautiful square, the facades of the Kiel Town Hall and the Opera House.
In addition it became really bright on the Rathausplatz at 6 p.m.: visitors formed the largest illuminated Christmas tree.
