For the first time the South Korean Embassy was part of the festival. Changing projections on the façade reflected the history of German-Korean friendship and the efforts for peace on the Korean peninsula. South Korea and Germany have had their own diplomatic relationship since 1983. Due to the common experience of national division, there are many parallels. Nevertheless, the East Asian country is still unknown to many people in the world. With politically and historically relevant images inserted into an artistic design, the Embassy wanted to show the deep cooperation between the two countries and provide a small insight into their culture.
