Illuminated winter nights
Since 2015, the “Light Nights” have been held every year in December as part of the traditional “Winterlights” festival.
You can find current information about the festival on the official website of the tourist office.

“Luxembourg Light Nights” Premiere!
The team of the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS came to Luxembourg on December 18th and 19th 2015 with a show case to take part in the first “Luxembourg Light Nights”. In close cooperation with the City of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office, the facades of the courthouse buildings of the “Cité Judiciaire” on the Plateau du Saint-Esprit were artistically staged with luminous collages and a live video show as well as music.
The “Luxembourg Light Nights” are part of the “Winterlights” programme presented by the City of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office. The “Winterlights” offer a range of attractions, entertainment and delicacies every year from December to the beginning of January: Among other things, you can skate on the Place Guillaume II, taste culinary delights such as mulled wine and the popular “Gromperekichelcher” – potato pancakes – at the Christmas market.
Call for photos – colour photos on the subject of real or symbolic bridges
The City of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office invited the public to become part of the “Luxembourg Light Nights” in 2015.
The artists of the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS Berlin created two artistic collages by submitting photographs on the theme of bridges (“Building Bridges”) – real or symbolic.
