
Miriam Ortmann has developed the corporate design of Faces of Europe, visible on the fassade of the German Federal Foreign Office.
She lives in Münster (Westphalia), where she works as a designer, creating and implementing cross-media concepts for many different fields. For a few years she worked in the music industry, including for Elevator DJ Mailorder and for “VISIONS” alternative music magazine, and also as a designer and also as a DJ in various clubs in Münster, Hamburg and the Ruhr district, as well as at festivals such as Vainstream Rockfest. In the editorial design sphere, she later worked on titles including “GALORE Interviews”, her own art magazine “MYOZINE” and the book accompanying Carsten Sander’s photographic art project “HEIMAT. Deutschland – Deine Gesichter” (HOME. Germany – Your Faces), for which she received the German Photo Book Prize Bronze in 2018. She founded the Hansastudio creative community and is also active as an illustrator and contemporary artist.
