Program 2020
At the Festival of Lights Berlin 2020 not only many things were new, but also a bit different – because for the first time we took place in a Special Edition. Our motto for this special format: “Together we shine”. Under this we made Berlin shine from September 11 – 20 now for the 16th time! The Festival of Lights 2020 was an open air light art gallery with more than 90 shining artworks at 86 locations, spread all over Berlin on about 168 square kilometers. All illuminations shone daily between 8pm and midnight. Visitors were invited to discover the capital on dreamy light walks. Along famous landmarks, through the neighborhoods and for the first time even virtually from afar. A festival of light that set a sign for gratitude, solidarity, unity and cohesion!
