Huge glowing European heart at Berlin Central Station on Europe Day
offered a first preview of this year’s FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS.
On the evening of 9th May, Berlin’s main railway station presented itself with a huge luminous message on Europe Day. It also gave a first impression of this year’s FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, in which the main station will again be represented along with many other stations, buildings and squares. With the words ” All the best for Europe Day” and a heart made of European stars, it greeted Berliners, guests, travellers – people in the hole European nation – via a large-scale light art projection. The projection was illuminated on the two station facades at the Washingtonplatz entrance and could be experienced on Europe Sunday from 9 p.m. to midnight. The FESTIVAL of LIGHTS team was responsible for the creative and technical implementation on behalf of Deutsche Bahn AG.
