We kick off every year with the Festival of Lights Zagreb, our first major annual event. It marks the beginning of Zagreb\u2019s tourist season and a return to open-air gatherings, celebrating the long-awaited arrival of warm days, vibrant colours, and all the joys of spring.<\/p>\n

The Festival invites visitors on a walk through the city centre, celebrating life and offering a new perspective through the art of light, and a mix of design, architecture, and entertainment.<\/p>\n

Since its first edition in 2017, Festival of Lights Zagreb has been included in the organisation Festival of Lights International, placing Zagreb on a global map alongside Berlin, New York, Lyon, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Prague, St Petersburg, and many others.<\/p>\n

Through our tireless work to enhance quality, the Festival has gradually grown into a truly international project and event. From its humble beginnings with just a few Upper Town locations, the popular event has expanded to include more than 30 locations in the Upper and Lower Town, solidifying its status as Zagreb\u2019s signature attraction alongside Advent Zagreb (our Christmas market).<\/p>\n

Several crucial elements contribute to the event\u2019s success \u2013 a successful synergy with cultural institutions and a variety of professionals, ongoing work on brand implementation, and finally, the creation of authentic, original and emotionally engaging content.
