12. Berlin Cathedral

As one of Berlin’s most iconic landmarks, Berlin Cathedral will once again be transformed into a dazzling stage for the 2025 Festival of Lights. This year, it once again sets the scene for the Festival of Lights Award, presented under the theme “Let’s Shine Together.” International artists will showcase their personal visions through large-scale light art installations.

Featured artists include Archan Nair, Daniel Margraf, EPER DIGITAL STUDIO, Julia Specht, MP-STUDIO, OKO, Otto Schade, Sabine Hecher and Susan Gurnee.

The cathedral’s architecture serves as more than just a projection surface — its artistic reliefs become an integral part of the visual experience. The result: vivid, dynamic compositions that play with depth, form, and light. Abstract shapes and imaginative animations merge into a striking display of light — a living cathedral of creativity and collective expression.
