34. Oberbaum bridge

Through an atmospheric light installation, the iconic Oberbaum Bridge becomes a glowing symbol of connection and togetherness. The historic structure shines in a new light, a place where people, neighborhoods, and cultures come together and shine collectively.

For the first time, students from the Cologne University of Media Arts bring their own creative ideas to the Oberbaum Bridge, giving it a fresh, contemporary perspective.

Pink pairs beautifully with green! This iconic color code symbolically represents the famous witches of Oz. The Oberbaum Bridge – with its two distinctive towers – is not only a Berlin landmark and a symbol of East-West connection, but it also reflects the duality embodied in the unlikely friendship of Glinda and Elphaba from WICKED 2: For Good .
