From April 12 – 15, 2018 our partner festival SPOTLIGHT took place in Bucharest! Festival of Lights was again international partner and realized many of the building stagings. Festival of Lights director Birgit Zander was in charge of the overall artistic direction.

The motto of this year’s Spotlight Festival was “United we shine”, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the great unification of Romania. Some 27 installations, video mappings and spectacular projections told the 100-year story in a special way and made the city center shine.
