Das Center am Potsdamer Platz

Das Center am Potsdamer Platz, formerly known as Sony Center, is an architectural masterpiece in the heart of Berlin. After several years of modernization, it now serves as the stage for three fantasy figures created by the British artist duo Filthy Luker & Pedro Estrellas as part of the Festival of Lights. For over two decades, Pete Hamilton and Luke Egan—their real names—have been creating spectacular, often humorous artworks in urban spaces, frequently described as “living street art.”
With the characters Howler, Snapper, and Bezerker, they bring their unique, playful art to Berlin. The glowing creations surprise with humor and dynamism, transforming Das Center into a magical play of light, shape, and colour.

Das Center am Potsdamer Platz, formerly the Sony Center am Potsdamer Platz, is an architectural masterpiece in the heart of Berlin, known for its futuristic roof. Built in 2000, the site comprises eight buildings, including the railway tower, 85,000 m² of office space, 20,000 m² for retail and leisure and 67 residential units. The modernisation measures currently underway aim to create an office campus in which the worlds of new work, culture, gastronomy and community merge.
