LEGO Group
The LEGO Group’s mission is to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow. The LEGO System in Play, with its foundation of LEGO® bricks, enables children and fans to build and recreate anything they can imagine. The LEGO Group was founded in 1932 in Billund, Denmark by Ole Kirk Kristiansen. The name is derived from the two Danish words LEg GOdt, which means “play well”. Today, the LEGO Group is still a family business with its headquarters in Billund.
