Zespri™ is based in Mount Maunganui, on the northern of New Zealand’s two main islands. Our mission is to support people, communities and the environment through the benefits of kiwifruit, and to provide healthy and great tasting Zespri™ Green and SunGold™ kiwifruit to consumers worldwide. Our kiwifruit grow on select plantations with fertile, moist, slightly acidic soil and plenty of sun but not too much wind. The company is 100% owned by past and present kiwi growers and currently works with 2800 growers in New Zealand and 1700 from other countries such as Italy and France. As it is always summer and therefore harvest time on one of the halves of the earth, this guarantees the constant top quality of the Zespri™ kiwis throughout the year. The fruits from New Zealand are transported exclusively by ship.
