5. Nikolai Quarter – former Kaufhaus Israel

A place full of secrets. The dark alley of an old magic city. If you look closely, you can see people in the half-light. Or are they supernatural creatures? A white owl flies towards us and sits on a brass sign. She looks at us as if she knows the answer. But before we can ask her, something strange happens: an old man with a pointed hat and a magic wand appears out of nowhere. An enchanted aura surrounds him. Perhaps he is a wizard. This will remain his secret. As unexpectedly as he appeared, he vanishes again. The mysterious alley is in darkness. What did the old man with the pointed hat want? Where did he go? While the thought still lingers, lights in the windows brighten our enchanted little alley. Soon the day will break there and turn these strange occurrences of tonight into shadowy memories.

It’s no coincidence that the staging is reminding us of Harry Potter movies. Except that this is not Diagon Alley, but the enchanting Nikolai Quarter. With many small mysterious alleys full of attractive stores, cafes and restaurants. And recently also with a magic shop….
