Hermes Mangialardo

Hermes ‘Hem’ Mangialardo is a renowned cartoonist, video artist and 3D video mapper from Italy. He has received over 100 national and international awards for his short films and music videos, including the Nastri d’Argento and the MTV Flash Award. His series Urban Jungle for MTV, a humorous exploration of urban phenomena, became a cult favourite on YouTube, reaching millions of views.

As one of the best 3D video mappers in Europe, he has realised major architectural projects, including the Colosseum, the Berlin TV Tower as part of the Festival of Lights and Pécs Cathedral. His projections inspire with their artistic depth and technical perfection, which is why we are delighted that he is once again taking part in the Festival of Lights as an award artist.
