Borealis Festival of Light
For the latest information on the next festival, visit the Borealis Festival of Light website.
The BOREALIS Festival of Light was held for the first time in Seattle, USA, from October 11-14, 2018.
A kaleidoscope of light, color and illusion transformed the exterior of the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) and showcased an international video mapping competition in nightly performances. A self-guided walking tour of the South Lake Union neighborhood, featuring light installations by regional and international artists and artist teams, rounded out the festival.
BOREALIS, a festival of light, brings together artists and the technological world for this annual event in Seattle.
The festival is free to the public and features a unique combination of live music, street art performance, light installations and multimedia video projections designed to transform the environment into a virtual reality extravaganza – an urban canvas for unconventional storytelling by artists from around the world.
