When the facades in Berlin grow dark again, the lights switch on in our partner clubs – and the party truly gets started!

Together with OM Consult & Event, we are extending the Festival of Lights in the capital into the early morning hours. At the new Festival of Lights Club Nights, light and the legendary Berlin beat merge in selected clubs into a perfect symbiosis, capturing the city’s incomparable vibe and bringing it straight to the dance floor.

Hardtechno meets trance influences, visuals, and the energy of Berlin’s nightlife. SHØCC represents a new generation of hardtechno, bringing KARAMUSTAN—one of the scene’s rising artists—to M-BIA. Light, visuals, and sound set the tone for the night across two floors.

A psychedelic journey of sound, light, and motion. INCEPTION transforms M-BIA into an immersive world of psytrance, visuals, light, lasers, and festival-style decor. Across two floors, hypnotic soundscapes meet intense visual staging.

Enter the Freakquency. Psytrance, trance, and techno meet futuristic visuals, neon light, and festival-style decor. Across two floors, an audiovisual world of hypnotic sounds, driving basslines, colors, and motion unfolds. Light, visuals, and music merge into an intense clubbing experience.

LIGHT EXPERIENCE
October 16, 2026 | 7pm-10pm

On October 16th, MAAYA transforms into an immersive landscape of light and sound as part of the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS. Large-scale projection mappings and visuals illuminate the facades, walls, greenery, and various areas of MAAYA, with African and Afro-diasporic music taking center stage in the production. Images, colors, movement, and sound merge into an audiovisual journey through diverse perspectives of the African continent and its diaspora—ranging from urban metropolises and nature to fashion, digital art, pop culture, and futuristic imagery. Tradition, present, and future blend through light and sound. Musically, LIGHTS OF AFRICA spans Afro House, Amapiano, Afro Tech, Kuduro, Gqom, Highlife, Afrobeats, and electronic music.

FROM LIGHT INTO THE NIGHT

When the evening projections end, the experience continues in the club. The FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS CLUB NIGHT connects the festival’s visual world with MAAYA’s unique atmosphere. Visuals and light installations move from the outdoor area into the night, accompanying live DJs and electronic and African sounds. Projection mapping, club culture, music, and light unite into a shared audiovisual experience—to see, hear, and dance to.

At the PKH Warehouse, the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS extends well into the night. Visuals and projections combine with a lively bar atmosphere and alternating club events. Located right next to Friedrichstraße, this creates another hotspot where light art, sound, and Berlin nightlife meet.
