World Health Summit
From 15-17 October, Berlin will once again be the capital of global health: The World Health Summit, one of the world’s most important strategic forums in this field, will bring together leading representatives from science, politics, industry and civil society from all regions of the world with the aim of achieving a healthier future for all. This year’s theme is “A Defining Year for Global Health Action”. For the first time, the World Health Summit will therefore also shine on the Brandenburg Gate as part of the Festival of Lights: With an animation in honor of the 75th birthday of the World Health Organization (WHO) – at the end of the festival and at the same time the beginning of the World Health Summit 2023.
The World Health Summit in Berlin is the unique international strategic forum for global health, bringing together leading international stakeholders from science, politics, private sector, and civil society to set the agenda for a healthier future. One occasion making this year special is the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 75th anniversary. As close partners, WHO and WHS work together towards better health and well-being for all.
