World Championship of Projection Mapping 2016: TV Tower
After the great success of the 1st Berlin FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS World Championship of Projection Mapping 2015, international artists competed for the second time in 2016 with their creative and innovative video mappings and state-of-the-art techniques.
For the first time, the Berlin TV Tower was spectacularly illuminated in this context. A jury selected the 10 best video mappings around the theme “Art & Nature”, which were presented in a 20-minute show on the Berlin TV tower.
Visitors to the festival were able to vote for the best video mapping and determine the winner of this year’s World Championship. Breathtaking photos and videos were created in the competition on the highest building in Germany.

The Jury
On September 9, 2016, our jury selected the top 10 from 27 submissions on the premises of the Hotel de Rome. The finalists come from 9 different countries: Slovakia, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Bulgaria, Venezuela, Germany and United Arab Emirates.
