The 16th World Nature Conference will take place in Cali (Colombia) from October 21st to November 1st, 2024. It is crucial that governments demonstrate sufficient political will to implement the goals of the 2022 International Agreement on Nature as quickly as possible and to close existing gaps. This also applies to the federal government!

In the run-up to the conference, the WWF is drawing attention to the greatest threat to our planet and our own lives next to the climate crisis: the extinction of species. The extinction of species is a natural process, but today it has accelerated considerably under the influence of humans. We saw on the branch we are sitting on. It’s time to act!
