31. Pergamon Museum

To mark the reopening of the Pergamon Museum on June 4, 2027, a roughly three-minute projection will be shown on the future interim entrance. It takes visitors on a journey through the museum’s ten-year renovation phase, using impressive photographs by Alexander Schippel to showcase the transformation of the building and its architecture. The staging seamlessly connects the story of the reconstruction with a glimpse of what awaits visitors upon its reopening next year.

Our tip for the perfect view: You will get the absolute best view of this romantic light spectacle from Monbijoupark on the opposite side of the Spree. From there, the glowing backdrop unfolds in all its glory and reflects beautifully in the water.
