Under the title “KEIN RAUM – encounters with people without shelter”, those who are otherwise on the margins of society, living in secret under bridges, hidden in doorways and in parks, become visible. The light installations allow viewers to get close to homeless people and look them in the eye – face to face. The portraits by photographer Debora Ruppert reflect the breadth of individual fates. Men and women, old and young, who come from different countries and now live on the streets of Berlin. The photos clearly draw attention to their precarious living situation.
